  6. This IFF sample will make you aware of the quality that the Timidity
  7. MIDI-player can achieve with a good set of GUS patches. Timidity needs
  8. a lot of work on configuration, but as you can hear it's worth the work
  9. as the final results are incredible. Just compare this sample, generated
  10. outputting the play to a file, to what you can hear, i.e. with GMPlay.

  12. I am going to upload on Aminet a ready-to-go preconfigured Timidity
  13. archive with all the patches (be ready to download some megs ;-)
  14. so you will not have to get crazy configuring Timidity.

  16. I will upload the whole archive as soon the PPC version will work here
  17. (if anyone is using the Holger Jakob's PPC port, let me know!), so
  18. wait a few days and you will enjoythe nice sound of TImidity.
